My story

Hi, I'm Tomasz Pieszko — a creative director and design strategist with over 10 years of experience in branding, product design, editorial, and marketing. I enjoy turning ideas into clear, engaging visuals — whether for print, digital, or social media.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with companies of all sizes — from cultural institutions and public services to e-commerce and tech. I’ve led creative teams, built campaigns from scratch, and helped shape products and brands with wide reach and strong visual impact.

I’m curious and love learning new things — especially where design meets technology. I pay attention to trends, but I’m also guided by a strong sense of what’s useful, beautiful, and honest. I believe good design should solve problems, tell stories, and make things easier for people.

I’ve worked in agencies, in-house teams, and as a freelancer — which means I’m comfortable with every part of the design process, from first sketch to final delivery. My work includes editorial design, brand identity, user interfaces, and more recently, motion graphics and video editing.

Some of the clients I’ve worked with include RSB (Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin), Spy Museum Berlin, GESOBAU (Berlin’s public housing company), DOSB (German Olympic Sports Confederation), Valmano, Wayfair, Wargaming, and Customer Alliance.

What I enjoy most is working with great people on meaningful projects. I like to be challenged, keep learning, and see where design can take us next.

Technical Skills

Proficient in industry-standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat Pro. Comfortable working with HTML and CSS, with hands-on experience managing content through platforms like WordPress. Equally fluent on both Mac and PC environments, with a strong ability to adapt to new tools and workflows.

Artistic Background

My creative process is grounded in a solid artistic foundation. Sketching remains an essential tool for exploring and communicating ideas. I bring hands-on experience in various art techniques and a keen eye for typography, colour, composition, and visual balance — all of which shape my approach to clear, compelling design across formats.

Design process

For mover a decade, I have been using design to help businesses to tell stories, create better customer interactions, and enhance their design operations. I believe in a strong combination of design discipline and strategic thinking when untangling tough client challenges.

Research

I start every project by reviewing and analysing industry competitors, relevant projects and suitable references. Then I feed back to the client in a way that moves their understanding forward.

Concepts

Once information has been supplied to shape by the client, I explore all possibilities. Initial ideas and concepts are presented for the client’s review. 

Development

Once a decision is made in which direction to develop, a more refined concept will be presented to the client. We will also discuss in more details, functions and features. 

Final design

The final solution will be delivered, hitting the deadline.
